San Diego DUI Attorneys report that arrests Are Up While DUI Fatalities Are Down.
The 2010 Summer/Labor Day Holiday DUI Mobilization crackdown on drinking drivers has ended and resulted in a significant number of DUI arrests from the San Diego DUI Checkpoints, Special San Diego Drunk Driving Saturation Patrols and routine San Diego DUI patrol in the San Diego “AVOID” DUI Campaign for the past 18 days.
Beginning 12:01 AM Friday August 20, 2010 through Midnight Monday September 6, 2010 San Diego DUI officers representing 14 county law enforcement agencies have arrested 957 individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
In 2009, 934 DUI arrests occurred during the same time period, San Diego DUI lawyers say.
2 deaths attributed to a San Diego drunk driver happened.
San Diego drunk driving officials will be conducting more anti – San Diego DUI efforts throughout the county and region again during Halloween, Thanksgiving Eve before planning for the December Winter Campaign periods.
