San Diego County DUI Law Center’s attorney Rick Mueller posts the locations of weekend DUI checkpoints in California’s southern most city. This weekend look out, warn San Diego California DUI lawyers.
Friday night, July 26, from 8:00 PM to 3:00 AM, San Diego California DUI deputies from the San Diego Sheriff’s Department Lemon Grove Station will be conducting a San Diego California DUI Sobriety checkpoint near the 7900 block of Broadway in the city of Lemon Grove. The checkpoint will be staffed by approximately 15 DUI trained Sheriff’s Deputies. The purpose of the San Diego California drunk driving checkpoint is to remove impaired and/or unlicensed drivers from the roadway, public education, and deterrence thereby increasing the safety of all drivers and allowing for a safer driving environment.
The San Diego California drunk driving checkpoint is funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety. The San Diego California DUI checkpoint’s aim is to deter drivers that may be driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and drivers operating vehicles with a suspended license or no license at all.
