San Diego DUI Lawyers at http://sandiegodui.com/survey.html are told the California DUI Court seeks arrest of Lindsay Lohan.
Actress Lindsay Lohan was asked to surrender to authorities after Beverly Hills Superior Court issued a warrant stemming from a California DUI and hit-and-run incident in May 2007.
But Lohan’s California DUI criminal defense attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said Saturday she believes the California DUI warrant is “born out of a misunderstanding” and expressed confidence it would be resolved quickly and that her client would not have to surrender.
In the California DUI incident, Lohan was arrested after she lost control of her Mercedes-Benz SL65 and crashed into some shrubs. Her Mercedes was driven from the scene and was discovered by police at a nearby condominium complex. A small amount of cocaine also was found inside the vehicle. The actress had left the scene and was taken to a hospital, where she was taken into custody.
Lohan pleaded no contest to California DUI – drunk driving charges while admitting to using cocaine in two incidents.
She was placed on probation for three years and was ordered to serve 10 days of community service.
She was reportedly out in the West Hollywood California area having dinner Friday night, not answering questions about this warrant arising out of a California DUI.
