Without an exact weekend date – October 7th or 8th, 2011 – and without a location – San Diego county’s favorite DUI checkpoint cops, Escondido Police Department, will set up their legendary DUI checkpoint, lawyers are told.
The so-called official point of the DUI / license checkpoint will be to detect drunk drivers and those with suspended, revoked, or no driver license and to continue broadcasting dangers of driving drunk.
Funding is no problem. Enforcement borders arbitrary & capricious. Ask those whose vehicles are towed.
