A San Diego DUI checkpoint in Vista this weekend will trap, catch and arrest DUI drivers, San Diego DUI lawyers were told today.
This North San Diego County DUI / drunk driving roadblock / checkpoint begins Saturday 7:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. at 900 Vista Village Drive, near the Vista Magnet Middle School of Technology, Science and Math. San Diego DUI sheriff’s personnel will question drivers trapped inside, searching for admissions of guilt and signs of alcohol or drug impairment and to check for proper licensing, San Diego DUI attorneys believe. In the past 3 years, drunk driving collisions in Vista killed 1 person and hurt 70 in 54 DUI accidents in North San Diego County, lawyers are told.
