Pala Indian Reservation DUI investigation leaves 2 motorists with major injuries and 2 passengers less seriously injured, attorneys are told.
The suspected drunk driving crash on California Highway 76, around Rice Canyon Road, happened around 8:50 p.m. last night as 1 of the drivers allegedly tried to overtake slower traffic by going into an opposing lane, San Diego DUI lawyers are told.
Robert Gresham, 24, of Hesperia, was headed eastbound in his Toyota Tacoma when he drove into a westbound lane and collided head-on with a forty-eight-year- old San Diego man driving a Mercedes E350.
The drivers have major injuries; front-seat passengers in both their vehicles suffered moderate injuries.
Medics drove both drivers and passengers to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido California.
DUI and/ or Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the accident, attorneys are told.
