From Friday to Monday, 92 San Diego DUI arrests were made on California roads over the Memorial Day weekend, compared to 68 during the same time period last year, the California Highway Patrol told San Diego DUI lawyers today.
San Diego DUI attorneys notified the public in advance that the Sheriff’s Department had 2 DUI and driver’s license checkpoints Friday night in North County. Together they resulted in just 3 San Diego California arrests, say defense lawyers.
Encinitas Sheriff’s Station held a checkpoint from 8 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday in Solana Beach in the 500 block of North Highway 101, near East Cliff Street. Only 3 people were arrested for California drunk driving.
Poway DUI deputies conducted a San Diego California DUI checkpoint from 7 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday for eastbound traffic in the 12100 block of Poway Road, near Pomerado Road. 32 California drivers were sent to the secondary DUI screening area, but 0 arrests were made for DUI.
