February 9, 2014 Press Release
San Diego DUI lawyers have been reporting current news releases about the recent big “Sex for No DUI” San Diego Police Department officer. Letting women “walk” in exchange for libido satisfaction was the norm, San Diego DUI attorneys are told.
Here’s today’s news flash:
Thirty-year old San Diego Police officer C. Hays accused of sexual misconduct has been booked into jail on false imprisonment and sexual battery. He’s in San Diego jail now on a $130,000 bail, according to jail records online. It’s unclear whether this was DUI related or not.
This San Diego Police Department officer is the center of two investigations for improper pat downs of four women and getting sexual gratification while doing them, per NBC San Diego.
The San Diego Police Department Officer is now on paid leave and has been relieved of police responsibilities.
After a first victim came forward, a police internal affairs investigation led to three other possible victims, SDPD Chief William Lansdowne announced Thursday.
Then on Friday, attorney Dan Gilleon came forward to say there may be a fifth alleged victim.
While Lansdowne maintains that the pat downs involved no skin-to-skin contact, Gilleon contends that the newer allegations were very serious in nature.
The District Attorney’s Office received the case in the middle of January, but its attorneys were still gathering evidence as of Thursday, debating pressing criminal charges, say San Diego DUI lawyers.
