San Diego’s “Sex for No DUI” Case may go down as one of the better trials of the year, say DUI attorneys.
It has the theme of soliciting favors for not arresting for drunk driving while, at the same time, showing the victims of DUI arrests in San Diego county.
Now, February 10, 2012 is the magical sentencing date for the infamous Anthony Arevalos, a former San Diego DUI police officer convicted of eliciting sex from women he pulled over in the Gaslamp.
Anthony Arevalos’ sentencing date was set last month for December 19th, but his lawyers successfully changed it. He was guilty on 8 felony counts involving 5 women who say he pulled them over on suspicion of DUI and offered to let them go in exchange for sexual favors or offers therefor.
